  • Milk The Cow : Company: $AWX.SG$
    ROE: 56.45% (2020 FY)
    PE: 18.00 TTM
    P/B: 5.75
I prefer PE as it's the "fastest & less effort" required to me gage the company valuation.
It's the price that investors will to pay for every [undefined] earned by the company.[undefined]
The better should be ROE. But it's too tedious for me. Only used it when go into more details if I want know the company more.

  • birdiebrog : $PLTR.US$

    For FY21:
    ROE: -27.29
    PE: -48.81
    PB: 11.67
ROE helps investors determine whether a company is efficient or an inefficient operator. But for growth stocks, it might not be the best indicator.

  • RageBubble : $PLTR.US$

    For FY21:
    ROE: -27.29
    PE: -48.81
    PB: 11.67
Different industries have different PE ratios, and knowing the industry specific ratio can help you in determining whether or not the current price is a good buy for future hold.

  • AliceSam : Company: Palantir

    ROE: -27.29%
    Current market-to-sales ratio: 17.35 (industry average 9.6)
    Current P / E ratio:-48.81 (industry average 33.28)
Current price / book ratio: 11.67 (industry average 11.43)

The price-to-earnings ratio is the ratio of the market price of a stock to earnings per share. It is often used as an indicator of whether stocks of different prices are overvalued or undervalued.

  • 102868715 : Company : $KO.US$
    ROE : 46.2%
    Current PE : 26.84
    Current PB : 11.38

I prefer ROE as it is a measure of company ability and efficiency on generating the profits and it can expressed as an estimate of the return for company shareholders.

  • NayaZindagi : Company : $ADSK.US$
    ROE: 54.78% (FY 2022)
    P/E: 92.56
    P/B: 53.07

I prefer to use P/E ratio as it shows if a stock price is undervalued ,overvalued or fairly price. If the ratio is low, it's price is undervalued, high price when overvalued and fairly price when the ratio is  in between overvalued and undervalued.

  • Man1212 : Company: PAX GLOBAL (00327)
    ROE: 17.93% (2021 FY) Vs 14.59 ( 5 Yr Avg)
PE: 6.54 Current (Sector Avg :17.65)
    P/B: 1.04 Current (Sector Avg: 2.86)
I prefer ROE as current FY is higher than 5 Yr Avg. The other 2 incidcator also better than same Sector avg.
Currently this HK stock is under value.

  • 12moon : My stock: Lufax
    ROE: 4.55%
PE: 6.43 versus 18 (sector ave)
    PB: 1.11 versus 4.73(sector ave)

Both PE and PB indicate that Lufax is a good buy now. ROE tells whether a company is operating efficiently for shareholders, a profitability measure. As Lufax is deemed as a growth stock, I opt for sustainable ROE as a more reliable indicator.@moomoo TA Cici

  • Milk The Cow Invest With Cici OP :

  • ProfitTogether : Check in
    AEM SGD (AWX)
    Current price = 4.65
    ROE = 56.45%
    P/E = 18.24
    P/B = 5.827
I prefer using P/E to assess whether the price of the stocks is overvalued or good valued because it is easy to understand and the info is easily available.

  • luckysilky : Company: $MTTR.US$
    ROE: -458.5% FY2021
    PB: 8.57 (sector avg 6.20)
    PE: -6.06 (sector avg 47.72)
I will refer to all three values in comparison with the others in similar industry to determine whether to invest in a company. The ROE of the company shows the return the company can generate for shareholders. PB is the ratio of the price to the book value of the company. PE is the price for every dollar earnings the company can generate.

  • Shuseido : Company: $MSFT.US$
    ROE: 12.03%
    P/E: 31.89 (sector average 33.28)
    P/B: 14.03 (sector average 11.43)
I like to use the P/E ratio is evaluate how much the stock is overvalued/undervalued by comparing with other companies in the same sector.

    @moomoo TA Cici

  • ad1987 : $PG.US$
    ROE $PG.US$
    ROE- 9.33 Q2 22
    P/E- 26.60
    P/B- 8.10
When picking a stock to invest in I like to use P/E because it can give me a good idea if I am overpaying,  paying a fair price, or getting shares of a stock at a discount based on the company's strength

  • zoopy : $MSFT.US$

    TTM
    ROE: 47.08%
    P/E: 31.89
    P/B: 14.03
I would choose to look at ROE as it is easily available in Moomoo app. ROE refers to Return on Equity. The formulae for ROE is simply to use net profit to divide by Shareholders’ equity. (Shareholders’ equity is calculated by subtracting total liabilities from total assets of the company). A higher ROE signals that a company efficiently uses its shareholder's equity to generate income.
Microsoft’s ROE of 47.08% means that for every $1 worth of equity, the company was able to earn $0.47 in net profit!

  • Shilsk : Apple AAPL
    ROE 51.30 for 2022/Q1
    P/E  30.34
    P/B  38.61
I will look into the P/E ratio first to evaluate if the stock is overvalued or undervalued.

  • Woodlands : Company :Mcdonald
    ROE 2021: NA(-119.62)
    P/E :23.52(ttm)
    P/B : - 38.349
Will look at the P/E for Mcdonald. Though it has a negative ROE, it is because it has used billions in its stock buyback program. In addition, Mcdonald has a high Enterprise Value and has world wide restaurants.

  • NewbieInTheHouse : Company : $NVDA.US$
    ROE: 42.99% (FY 2022)
    P/E: 66.58
    P/B: 24.18

P/E ratio as it shows if a stock price is undervalued ,overvalued or fairly price.
ROE measure company efficiency to generate profit.

Both are saying $NVDA.US$ is good.[undefined]

  • doctorpot1 : Company: $S51.SG$
    ROE: -19.95% (2020 FY)
    PE: NA
    P/B: 0.98
all the numbers suggest it is horrible but investing is more than its current numbers. it's about the story and the future growth potential. this is a bet on a turnaround story. a bet on a dark horse that is transforming itselves (with the help of government) to become the largest shipyard (after buying out Keppel o&m) that is focused on green energy solution.

  • saintlin : Sgx
    ROE : 33.87%
    P/E : 25.37
    P/B : 7.44
Using P/E ratio to determine whether Sgx  overvalue or undervalue , may compare with industry peers P/E ratio average .
