Drop outdoor mask mandate and reopen borders: Singapore to ease Covid measures
Singapore will ease most of its Covid restrictions including outdoor mask mandates starting March 29, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced Thursday.
[CHANGES]
1. Wearing masks outdoors will be optional.
2. Up to 75 per cent of employees who can work from home will be able to return to the workplace.
3. The group size for social gatherings will be doubled from the current five persons limit to 10 persons.
4. Quarantine-free entry for vaccinated travellers from April 1.
However, indoor mask-wearing will still be mandatory.
Is it still worthwhile to invest in vaccine firms in the post-pandemic era?
Several travel-related stocks jumped on Thursday following the national address.
