War may or may not end soon. When a war ends, another war begins. Sometimes we have no idea where this is going, but usually results in economic sanctions among the countries involved. The victim is always the commoners and not the world leaders, resulting in widening (real) income gap between the rich and the poor due to falling purchasing power (increase in price level of general goods along with sticky wage in the short term).
The war can also been viewed as a distraction (“noise”) since the stock market is experiencing recovery due to increased ease of covid measures around the world.
A wise move to react to this is to buy stocks with strong fundamental at a fair price and wait patiently. If the stock price falls further, one can adopt the strategy of “Dollar Cost Averaging” to reduce the average price and wait for strong rebound, so that the investment can reap higher profit relative to just HODL and not make any move.
