mostly optimistic, in the short term

mostly optimistic as the government put in place prevention measures. however, i do question the cooling measures we have right now. omicron was not handled quite well in my opinion as death daily count hit 10+ or 20 if I'm correct at all. although society can go resume normalcy, there is bound to be some uneasiness with the sustainability. will the volatile virus mutate again?
