Mr Trecherous :
Syuee : No. The stock market does not affect my mood. I have no emotional attachment to any position. It is simply a matter of number crunching.
It is all hands on deck to defend a position in a fast market, the adrenaline is released but that is stimulation NOT emotion.
Emotions can destroy a methodical well executed plan.
To be a successful trader/investor, we need to leave our emotions at the door.
Making money in the stock market is like science. There are steps one needs to follow - be it a trader or an investor.
The key to making money is discipline, sticking to rules, monitoring the portfolio, diversification, learning from mistakes and getting trained to get better !
steady Pom pipi : As my losses continued to mount, I felt like I was about to suffocate!
My favorite color is green, I'm so happy this week and I can laugh even when I sleep.
Being swayed by emotions isn't a bad thing; after all, I do have feelings.
Yesterday I was in a low mood when it was red, and today's green made me feel better. Maybe tomorrow will be better. My future is full of imagination. I have experienced mood swings every day, and I am slowly growing.
CraCra665 : I know I picked lit. but I know there's gonna be a kick back. (almost always is when it's like this) but yea this week has been a great run. but every runner has to stop an rest. ya feel. so I just hope for the best. as we all do.

The market is kinda making me into a .
Milk The Cow Syuee :
HopeAlways : An emotional response to stock market volatility will harm one's investment decision. It is important to keep one's cool even as a crisis like the current Russia-Ukraine conflict causes the market to lose its momentum. One should not let emotions drive any investing decisions. Accept the emotions but do not react.
HopeAlways Syuee : Once we are able to calm our mind and take an objective view, there will be less tendency to take rash investing decisions that may harm our investments in the long run.
doctorpot1 : The stock market definitely affect our mood as we are human, but some can keep their mood under control. For me, if the stock market goes up, I'm happy. If it goes down, I'm happy and my warchest will be directed to the ones that crashed
Milk The Cow doctorpot1 : The "optimistic flag " that cannot be break.
