what2buy : If they are awarded, it could mean bad news for the shareholders because that will mean more funds needed to grow this segment. Given that Malaysia already has so many banks and the unbank population is so low, I don’t believe it will help the business a lot but still huge spending needed for the infrastructure and manpower. It will be a lot more interesting if they get similar license for other SEA countries.
