Tesla's Shanghai plant will stop production for four days, employees and suppliers have been notified

According to Reuters, two people familiar with the matter revealed that US automaker Tesla's Shanghai plant will suspend production for four days.

People familiar with the matter said Tesla had notified employees and suppliers of the move. Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to Bloomberg's previous report, Tesla's Shanghai factory will stop production for at least one day starting Monday.

Tesla's Shanghai plant produces cars for the Chinese market and is also an important export hub for markets such as Germany and Japan. According to data from the China Passenger Vehicle Association, Tesla delivered 56,515 cars in February, of which 33,315 were used for export, which is equivalent to an average daily delivery of about 2,018 vehicles.
