TSMC challenge Samsung？
As $Apple (AAPL.US)$ entrusted $Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US)$ to produce 5G RF chips, $SAMSUNG EL 144 (SSNGY.US)$ position in growing the foundry business became narrower. Samsung Electronics has been producing RF chips for Apple through Qualcomm, a fabless (semiconductor design company). However, as Apple skipped Qualcomm and transacted directly with TSMC, most of Samsung Electronics' foundry supply went to TSMC.
