There aren’t any short shares available. That chart goes by bid/ask range. If it’s close then it can go either way in green or red. It’s pretty much useless chart unless there are a lot of short shares available

They can’t liquid trade it without short shares whoever has the shares isn’t a liquidity fund so volume stays low until short shares are available again.

Certain hedge funds like JP Morgan are liquidity traders. Meaning if they own they shares they can run them thru the market so buying and selling is faster. Simple terms is they just sell them to the market then buy them right back over and over. But if a no liquidity trader owns the shares that’s not going to happen. Short shares are borrowed thru liquidity traders. So they can do it with short shares also until they are gone.
