Newcomers are usually confused about the "language" of a certain community. To start on the right track, they need a lingo guide. For example, long, short, float, and dividend. What do these words mean?
While investing might seem daunting at first, chatting well with others becomes easier once you start to understand the stock lingos. Would you like to
teach beginners the common trading lingos and terms? You may make some friends in this process. Alright, let's get started!
Rewards:1. Mooers of the 6 featured posts will get 288 points.

YOLO: You only live once
WAGMI: We are going to make it
HengOngHuatlah : I got educated with strike price. price target. options put and call with iron condor techniques. but my favourite is Tesla worshipping for volatility and day trade but beware of pump and dump. and shorted that are crazy suicidal players. personally I find stocks in USA have mad tendencies. pure sentiment pure feeling only sometimes are producing results based on fundamentals. fun. risky but profitable
BrandonnW : First of all, you should find the stocks you are interested in, and then learn about the stock market.
steady Pom pipi : Ha, there are a lot of words that I don't know.
RumpleStuntz : “Diamond Hands” vs “Paper Hands”- Diamonds are strong and hard, like these hands, they don’t let go is stocks easily! They hold through the ups and downs, through the red days, even when the stock is down 20% Diamond Hands are still holding!
“Paper Hands” let go of the stock as soon as they see red, or at the first drop in price. They just can’t hold.
LunaAnne : FOMO: Fear of Missing Out
ATH: All Time High
ATL: All Time Low
BO: BreakOut

HODL: hold on for dear life
Tendies: ppl who Cash out for a profit
To the moon: means a stock or what have you is takin off. (goin up in price)
Fomo: fear of missing out. (I don't do this simple because it's goin up an if you buy in at a highpoint then you 90%of the time lose money. because it drops in price an your stuck waitin for it to go back to that point to start Makin anything. but do you own lookin into it.
