GPU Demand Slows Nvidia 'Not a Problem'.
$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the GPU (graphics processing unit) boom over the past five years.The current inventory of GPUs is rising, which may mean that demand is slowing.
That due to factors such as weak demand in Asia, the Russian trade embargo and the sale of hardware by cryptocurrency miners, GPU inventory in the supply chain has increased. As a result, graphics card resellers' revenue has been "below seasonal revenue" since December, while GPU prices have dropped 25% month-over-month this month, bringing price levels back to early 2021.
