The more I research $Meta Platforms (FB.US)$ the more I think the core blue app is dying, but I believe Instagram is a robust growth engine that will drive the stock.
Core blue is “over earning” and network effects are nasty when they start to unravel. Core blue also has a poor brand image and poor content. Would be tough to reverse this ship.
Instagrams growth seems to be covered up by core blue’s demise. Instagram is just getting to the size where it can drive the stock. I believe the moat is strong and the transition to reels will be a long term valuable move.
