I had a full long update done but I messed up and moo erased it, so here is a quick one (I'm not putting another 2 hours into it sorry) I will just cut to the chase and show charts with some comments... "Predictions are hard, especially when they're about the future"Yogi Berra
VIX turned up off of the double bottom I predicted (now a removed post because of my error) I predict VIX to either bounce off of resistance and then blast past (as shown) or build support (in which case I expect a larger QQQ selloff) *if you would like to profit in this market, here are some charts, (I am invested in all I share) but do your own DD. if you have questions or need a start, ask... Want to build aMONSTERportfolio in a down market? first you need a solid foundation GOLD$SPDR Gold ETF (GLD.US)$
Notice how high the MACD is on the MOS daily chart, but how low on IPI monthly chart, that is because as silly as it sounds this is just getting started! These great companies have been out of favor for so long it takes a long time for investors to find them (I get lots of questions about people not knowing about commodities). Everyone uses these products everyday, in fact life as we know it depends on these, so I'm confused when people buy tech but not food growers🤷♂️ The world is entering a food crisis, fertilizer is increasingly expensive and in higher demand. Finally theMONSTERmust have arms ofSTEELand be able to move them -TRANSPORT$Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF.US)$$United States Steel (X.US)$$Union Pacific (UNP.US)$$ZIM Integrated Shipping (ZIM.US)$
Steel is all going up, railroads have pricing power and transport large goods relatively cheaply, Shipping companies transport large goods relatively expensively (but everyone pays) Many of these also pay dividends, which should also be increasing. And finally every monster must have a heart mine is$ChemoCentryx (CCXI.US)$pricing power, new multi disease miracle drug approved and just getting started.
As always Good Luck
I call myself aMonsterorDragonbecause that's how I invest, as a commodities investor every cycle I wake up devour all profits, feast on the ashes of tech and return to hibernation. I am up over 240% since waking up. I am not done devouring and havent even started feasting.

Commodities super cycle! Unfortunately I don't understand and so don't trade much commodities other than Gold. Oil is too headline driven these days so not trading that either but like you Im bullish on that commodity. Don't expect to see Oil stay below $100 despite Bidens efforts for the year until rig count starts to rise again next year. I still have a lot more to learn about commodity though. Anyways congrats on them gains!

Great sharing. U really nailed the cycle end to end. In your view, how resilient do you see these as part of a long term portfolio and any time frame would you hold these for? How about volatility vs risk/reward, and at current prices, are these still attractive entry points? Thanks

thank you Super Cycle indeed!!! commodities are easy you just jump on and wait, but they do crash quickly (we are nowhere near that point). glad you got goldthat's the play of the year. appreciate the feedback.

VIX is only optionable unless you use something like UVXY, it's going higher similar to SQQQ just hold until the trend turns, but it will bounce a lot! VIX had the large block trades at 60 so that's an idea of where some smart money think it can go.... the super cycle I think has a year or more, steel will be the first to experience price collapse (after these companies double). Oil/energy- gold- silver could run for years, we are entering a new paradigm and those are real money.

steel will experience price collapse first, but that is a year or more away, no way to tell for sure how long it can last - in the 40s it went for almost a decade.

ohhh but sqqq has decay and expense ratio right? I read online that the max recommended holding period is 3months. Is that it? I was wondering won't the portfolio be reversed once a deep correction occurs? would the time decay really make it unprofitable in a turn of tide?

iamiam OP : what I'm looking for this morning. Im watching to see if NQ can continue to move up and cool down indicators (RSI was oversold) for a morning drop. watch VIX to see if it continues its uptrend to verify selloff. Deals should open up in oil and energy today. Precious metals are opening down and may look for another entry point. Steel opened higher, potash will also drop (nat gas price effects fertilizer). It may be a good day to look for a good entry point. $VanEck Oil Services ETF (OIH.US)$ $Invesco Dynamic Energy Exploration &Production Etf (PXE.US)$ $SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF (XME.US)$ $SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP.US)$ $Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE.US)$ $The Mosaic (MOS.US)$
