The Missed Ride

Years ago when bitcoin was virtually unknown to most I met a man while doing a repair on his vehicle for him. I am an automotive tech, and I used to do side jobs during the weekend. Anyway, this guy was really enthusiastic about bitcoin, I had never even heard of it. I am guessing it was worth very little at the time. Much like other new crypto currencies you see now, some worth pennies or less. He reccomended that I invest in it as he had, he went on and on about it. I declined, as I had never heard of it, and really new next to nothing about crypto currency in general. I open up coinbase now where I have quite a few different coins I have put money in, much like stocks I invest in, and I see bitcoin as of now up near 50,000! This is now an interaction I think of periodically in my life. If only I had listened to this man, if only I had invested then, I could be a very rich man now. If only. So that is where I missed the boat. I do not yet have enough experience, or time invested to have that type of experience with stock trading. I have had a good month this march. Everything I invest in to date however is with a long game in mind. There is nothing I do with the intention of making quick money. In fact I think 5 years may be the quickest I can envision selling anything. I have a few AMC, I have a few NIO so I experienced the rapid growth this month. My M.O. is the adage, buy the dip. Buy low, sell high. Growth stocks catch my eye, another thing I am more recently more interested in as well are stocks that pay dividends. I can see a path where I acquire more and more of these. I would like to acquire so many that every quarter I receive a nice chunk of money, which I can compound or save. Build, build, build. I've started late, so now I must be diligent in order to create my golden egg. Investing my time is as important as the money I invest as well. The MooMoo courses are really quite priceless. I think this app is good for experienced traders, and rookies as well. Im no longer a rookie, I am certainly still an apprentice though. I encourage all, newcomers especially, go through the courses library. Begin to take them, begin to learn. I think I was able to to mingle with the topic for a moment before I took a huge detour. Those are the thoughts I have, goodluck to all. Hopefully April can yield similar results to March.
