$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ is it still advisable to buy at $1085?

TeslaSmurf : What is the problem, given that it will grow  to 1500-1800 (maybe more due to the split). ? It will be a bumpy ride, of course. Keep 1/3 of the capital to buy a dip in case it goes down significantly for a period (I don’t think it is going to happen). In the meantime you can invest that 1/3 into a less volatile share, as Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway. When the time comes, you sell it and buy Tesla in a dip (the dip is when the price goes down the 200 moving average in the 1 month chart), without a blink.
