•Mooers comment
@AlphaWolf01 :
$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$
A stock split doesnt dilute. A stock offering is the one that dilutes. Be informed before you spread nonsense. Here is a example: Lets say you own a pizza originally about 12 slices, but say you split all 12 into 24 slices, the value and worth of the pizza is still the same.

  • HopeAlways :

  • HopeAlways : Investors who expect history to repeat exactly like the past will fall prey to the wrong assumption that "Everything is always the same". The present and future stock market will not unfold exactly like the past, but it will have some similarities though. Investors who avoid history are bound to repeat the previous mistakes, while those who expect precision will learn the hard way. In fact the stock market can remain irrational than one can remain solvent. Nevertheless, history has shown that the stock market has been, and can be beaten by brave ones who are willing to buck the momentum herd and focus on fundamentals.

  • Syuee : Pattern of history is important to learn why things happened, how they unfolded and what mistakes were made.

History tells us that there is no precise duration for a Bull or a Bear Market but an approximate average time.

Bulls and Bears come in all shapes/sizes and all durations. History CANNOT tell us how long a bull or a bear will last, only that Bulls that become speculative end with a commencement of a market collapse and bear cycle.

History tells us that a stock market crash can start in a different financial market and then trigger a sell off in stocks.

Everyone seems to be watching the stock market but there is trouble brewing in bonds, currencies, commodities, e-mini futures, and ETFs. It may not start in the stock market~ .

History tells us that speculation and bubbles have always ended in a collapse of prices for what ever asset is over valued to an extreme level.

There is nothing in the history of the market that can provide a reasonable means of determining when a bubble will implode, only that a bubble exists.

Therefore, pattern of history is very important as it can give us guidelines and insights as to risk factors.

Investing and trading is all about assessment of risk, mitigating risk, and being prepared for any event.

Some speculators may be too full of euphoric greed to study history, so they are at risk of losing far more than their gains.

Using stock market historical data and studying specific examples from the stock market in the past make it easier us to put current market moves in context while making informed decisions.

Market history educates us to know what has been done, what worked and what failed.

Yes, pattern of history may likely repeat. Thus, analysing market history helps to minimize our risk as we already have an idea how the market may respond to certain factors.

  • HuatLady :

  • LamiBang : Trading is based on finding patterns. If patterns look consistent and beneficial for this month year over year why not be hopeful and take some bullish moves? Stay within reason obviously but maybe make some bets you normally wouldn’t if you see that trend line there

  • 103047546 : Look out! Gold futures may have room to fall by $30: analysis of the latest technological prospects of gold, silver, crude oil and copper

24K99 News Monday (April 4) Asian market, gold futures maintained a downward trend, gold futures are currently trading around $1920 / oz. Kshitij Consulting Services team (Kshitij Consultancy Service) wrote the latest article on Monday to make a forward-looking analysis of the future trend of gold futures, silver futures, crude oil futures and copper futures.
In terms of gold, the Kshitij consulting service team pointed out that gold futures remain in the range of 1910-1970 USD / oz and may fall to 1890 USD 70 / oz in the short term. To stay bullish, gold futures must stay above $1890 an ounce.

Silver, the Kshitij consulting service team said, silver futures held steady above $24.00-$24.50 / oz, which could cause it to rise to $25.50 / oz again. Silver prices are likely to remain in the range of $24.00 to $25.50 / oz in the short term.

In terms of crude oil, Kshitij consulting services team said Brent crude oil futures and WTI crude oil futures fell. Cloth oil may test $98 per barrel, while WTI oil prices could fall to $96-94 per barrel, and then the decline is expected to pause. In the medium term, if the decline continues, both Brent and WTI crude prices are likely to fall further to $92-90 a barrel.

In terms of copper, the Kshitij consulting service team said that copper futures remained below short-term resistance of $4.85 / lb, and if that resistance could not be overcome, the price of copper could fall to $4.65 / lb.

  • Syuee HopeAlways : The human nature which causes the market cycles is also the main cause of uncertainty in market movement.

As Mark Twain said ~ History doesn’t repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme ~ [undefined]

Most long-term investors favor fundamental analysis and are content with the resulting generalized expectations.

Some traders are more demanding of short-term performance and seek as much precision as possible.

Market patterns do usually repeats. By learning the patterns of stock market charts ( backed with a strong focus on fundamentals ), one can certainly access useful information.  [undefined]

  • 阿姚朋友 : As a rookie of technical analysis, he is full of curiosity about technical analysis. Some people say that technical analysis means that money-losing goods must not be touched, and there are also great gods who make a lot of money by relying on research indicators. I have also tried to learn technical analysis, open the teaching video, five minutes, from entry to dissuasion. But looking at the various gods after a meal of analysis, all kinds of escape from the top and bottom, aroused my infinite curiosity, is the technical analysis reliable in the end?

In line with my consistent spirit of knowing things, I began to study. All methodologies must be based on reliable assumptions and principles, otherwise they are cutting leeks.

    Technical analysis has three assumptions:

    1. Market behavior is inclusive, and price reflects all market information. In other words, technology investors only need to pay attention to how the price changes, not need to know why the price changes. You don't need to know about the macro economy, the financial situation of the company, and whether you have developed a new product, because the price will tell you everything, and all the forces, risks and opportunities are reflected in the price.

two。 The price movement has a trend. When they were in school, they all learned Newton's first law, "without the action of external force, things will move forward at a constant speed in a certain direction." this is a similar principle. When there is the influence of external factors, it will exert an external force on the price to change this trend.

    3. History repeats itself. We can learn from history, and so can the stock market. What flows is the capital, what remains the same is the person who manipulates the money, and people's psychological reaction will be reflected in the current price, as in history.

Based on the above assumptions, the basic principles of technical analysis are as follows

    1. The price is determined by supply and demand, and the supply and demand of commodities is determined by various rational and irrational factors.

two。 If the price fluctuation is ignored, the price change will show a certain trend over a period of time.

    3. The trend of price change varies with the relationship between supply and demand in the market.

To be honest, I don't see any loopholes in these three hypotheses. But it is clear that the first assumption, put in a very short period of time, may fail because of the lag in market behavior. So the conclusion is obvious: there is no problem with the principle of technical analysis. In order to deal with the failure of the hypothesis, there must be a response plan.

Then why do so many people say they lose money if they use it? The high probability is that you are not good at learning, ah, technical analysis, it is more harmful to learn this kind of thing than not to understand it at all. Did not read a few books to rush into the stock market to kill everywhere, you are not leeks who are leeks. If you want to get started, or don't learn, if you want to learn, you will learn to master before getting on the bus.
My conclusion is that the fundamentals of the company are the foundation, so don't touch the company if you don't understand it. Be sure to understand the company's business logic, profit model, debt capacity, to avoid systemic risk. Prices fluctuate around value over a long period of time. The value of companies with good fundamentals will rise for a long time, and they will not panic when the technical analysis fails temporarily. You can pay special attention to some stocks in your industry, because no one in these companies knows better than you, and you are better informed. Fundamentals I am optimistic about the company, will pay attention to the technical experts' point of view, the technical side can help me find Jiancang point and stop profit point.

As for how to refer to the big v point of view, here's what I think:

    1. Don't just look at conclusions, focus on data and logic. When I do fundamental research, I seldom read research papers, and even if I do, I mainly focus on the data and information collected by institutions, and seldom refer to conclusions, because analysts all have positions, and if I want you to do more, I can find opportunities for you anyway. So you are really writing a lot of ideas in detail. Independent thinking is really the most precious thing in this era. If you want to save time, read the point of view directly, then choose the big v that you can trust, there is no position, of course, think a certain stock is good, see more of this, is not what position ah. This subtle difference can be judged by everyone.

two。 Attention should be paid to both the pros and cons. One is to adopt the positive and negative views of a message, and the other is to obtain more comprehensive information. This is easier said than done. If you see too many people, if you see too much, you can't see others short, and go to other people's posts to swear. You know, the person who poured cold water on your head at the top is so honorable and lovely. You have to cherish it.

The above are just some of my own investment views, just to share. Everyone has their own investment ideas and strategies, or that sentence, independent thinking. May everyone realize the wealth and freedom in their own standards as soon as possible.

In the end, you saw it all here. Don't you like it for me? Make me happy.[undefined][undefined][undefined]
