$Tesla(TSLA.US$ When you CALCULATE an entry point, divide your investment in three parts: one over the entry point, one under, and the latter WAY under. You will probably get the first two at the required average price and you will keep your ass covered in case you thought wrong: it happens quite often. 🥶

Jay-Jay : great strategy
Jay-Jay : what price is your lowest buy in ?
TeslaSmurf OP Jay-Jay : I have an order at 1092,83 and the last one at 1067,83 (,83 is my lucky decimal).
doodoodadan : Agreed. Learned this the hard way moons ago.
3 tranches always.
Gy5228 : any examples? newbie here dont mind
TeslaSmurf OP : In any case you should keep checking because nothing is fixed. If SPY and QQQ do not show signs of recovery I will lower the second buy order from 1092,83 to 1082,83, as at 1080 there is a kind of support.
doodoodadan Gy5228 : Look for support/resistance levels. Easy way to explain is levels where greens and reds were rejected for the day.
1100 is huge support so it’s a good entry point.
Example,
1) queue buy 10 at 1100
2) queue buy 10 at 1075 if 1100 broken
3) queue buy 10 at 1050 if 1175 broken
Don’t buy all 30 at one go.
Pls change number of shares according to your own appetite. And do your own tech analysis for support levels.
Selling would be the opposite. Selling at for resistance/support levels.
doodoodadan : Many external indicators as well.
VIX SPY and QQQ for bigger picture.
Gy5228 doodoodadan : thanks bro hope to learn more from u
grov28chez : Can you provide a good example? Maybe one for the trend going up, and one going downhill
