“We want Fair and Workable!", the issues of Qantas’s flight credit policy

As states began to ease restrictions and travel resumed, travelers became increasingly frustrated with Qantas' flight credit policy.
CHOICE spokesman Dean Price expressed Qantas $Qantas Airways Ltd(QAN.AU)$ had put unreasonable barriers in the way of travelers trying to redeem points or get refunds, including restrictions on available flights, unfair expiration dates, and long wait times in call services.
In the meantime price stated CHOICE had asked the ACCC to determine whether Qantas' flight voucher terms and conditions constitute unfair contract terms under the Australian Consumer Law and has asked them to investigate whether Qantas' communications to customers about flight credits can be classified as misleading and deceptive conduct.

Previously, Qantas declared that frequent Flyers would need 30 to 45% fewer points for all Qantas Hotels and Qantas Holidays bookings.
