Meta Platforms Slowed Its Buybacks as the Stock Fell
Do you think the buyback should be accelerated or slowed down in the face of falling share prices? $Meta Platforms (FB.US)$scaled back its stock buybacks in the first quarter to an estimated $7.5 billion from a record $19 billion in the fourth quarter as the company's share price fell sharply. Meta's repurchases slowed within the first quarter after the company released disappointing fourth-quarter earnings and 2022 guidance in early February.
