I thinks low-carbon is a good thing to the planet as we reduce the waste 🗑 to the planet.
We can always do good by buying low-carbon products like $Tesla (TSLA.US)$, $NIO Inc (NIO.US)$, cars 🚗

For me, I dont know... But I guess I will favourite it first
.
I only know 1 thing... if u are not sure on which specific low-carbon stock u want to buy, maybe low-carbon ETF will be a good choice for u

But for me, I still preferred choosing my specific low-carbon stocks = no big risks no big gains
.
Also, u does not really need buy low-carbon ETF to do good to the planet
.
U can buy company stock that produce low-carbon products like $Keppel (BN4.SG)$... I think they are moving into clean energy

No offence but...
What're the 50 companies included in the ETF?
Can u provide the best 10 performance companies in the ETF?
95.07% return in 2 years? Based on what data?
Better than $FTSE Singapore Straits Time Index (.STI.SG)$?
Sure boh?

Answer to my above question:
Can u provide the best 10 performance companies in the ETF?
Can u provide the best 10 performance companies in the ETF?

(Not bad
, got $DBS (D05.SG)$, $UOB (U11.SG)$, $OCBC Bank (O39.SG)$, $Keppel (BN4.SG)$, $SGX (S68.SG)$, $Wilmar Intl (F34.SG)$, all those old champion 🏆 warriors)
Wow
, really give me 10
. & here I just randomly give a figures number only (guess they predicted ppls like me![]()
)
I finds it funny that some of these are the top 10 best companies in the ESG ETF
= how is it related to low-carbon?
Welp, forget that... it's not important... but the general idea is... does it really help us generate good
& do good to our portfolio?![]()
They are not going to throw some junk companies with bad performances inside right? Guess not because = under Singapore 🇸🇬
.
But to ppls who want do good to planet... how are some these companies considered low-carbon, eg banks?
"My stupid reasons" to answer for them is:
1. Because they use less physical paper
+
?
2. They participate/sponsor in "green" activities
? (isn't that making us investors losing
indirectly for the "good" of planet
? Well, maybe u can take it as advertising fee
.)
Like forcing their way through
.
What u guys think?
Will u invest in ESG ETF or spent ur
to invest on somewhere else with greater return but more risk? Reasons?
In my opinion, if what they claimed is true about the return %, I think it should considered safe for 2 years at least
?

A general ideas 💡 of the ESG ETF
A general ideas 💡 of the ESG ETF

As u can see, it's 84% based Singapore 🇸🇬
.
Actually is not bad leh...
14% on US... but 2% on HK maybe a bit too much = the most 1% is better
.
So, ESG ETF should be more volatile than STI ETF
= double edge sword 🗡 eh?
If u are a defensive 🛡 investor or can't stand volatility, STI ETF may be a better choice for u, in my opinion

By the way, can anyone explain to me in simple words?:

Can the total dividend offset all the management fee & expense ratio?
What is expense ratio? I'd learned it in the past but forgotten. I only know that the lower the %, the better. But how is it charged?
What is management fee & how it's charged? Is it forever as long as u are holding the ETF?![]()
Anyone knows, can let me know down in the comment

?
PS, I never done any IPO subscription before.
