Daily Poll: Is investing and gambling the same?

Milk The Cow : Gambling = Likely no/little research done & usually "ALL IN".

Investing = DYODD & based on the higher probability to make a decision.

Actually no much different but a slight difference .

Usually gambling  become an addict but investing is one who knows when to stop like eg. Stop loss at -40% ?

So? How if I choose a low probability with high return rates, is it call gambling? Who knows ?

Hit and Run : gambling is a guessing game. so do u just guess when u buy a company's share ?

treydongui : I think anytime inside info research or analysis can better your chances at profiting this is a step up from gambling. If it weren't for rampant manipulation and the markets it would feel less like gambling and more like investing should
