TSLA-TWTR vs PYPL-PINS
Tesla’s acquisition of Twitter reminds me of PayPal’s attempt to acquire Pinterest last October.
PayPal was trading at 260+ then, while Pinterest was at 50+. The moment PayPal announced their intention to buy Pinterest in Oct 2021, PYPL price plummeted because PYPL investors didn’t like the idea. The news sent PINS price up to 60+ before quickly dipping following the resistance from PYPL investors.
Now PYPL is at 83.70 and PINS is at 19.22.
I wonder if TSLA-TWTR would have a fairy tale ending.

$Tesla (TSLA.US)$
$Twitter (Delisted) (TWTR.US)$
$PayPal (PYPL.US)$
$Pinterest (PINS.US)$

Dadacai : This is not quite the same because Twitter will be privatised.
Rajez : Not sure, if the twitter’s aquisition is over-confidence and extreme visionary thought. !!
tatubaby : The difference is this is not tesla acquiring twitter tho... It is an individual, Elon Musk who is acquiring twitter
EverDust : Tesla is not buying twitter, elon musk is, so it does not affect Tesla future growth
ByeByeFiat : Glad to see many intelligent comments.
Talklili : I wonder if the powerful people are forcing Elon into a margin call in turn preventing him from being able to buy $Twitter (Delisted) (TWTR.US)$ There is a strong force pulling Tsla down.
