Someone explain to me: how do tech stocks lose money and trade high?
I’ve noticed a few stocks on here , the particularly high growth ones. $Cloudflare (NET.US)$ , $CrowdStrike (CRWD.US)$ , $Unity Software (U.US)$ , $Matterport (MTTR.US)$ , $Block (SQ.US)$ , To name a few . many of these companies were once trading at high multiples , some still are yet most of these are losing more and more money yoy, why is that?
Why invest in a company that just loses more money as it grows?
When are these losses expected to stop?
