The word indicator means something that shows what a situation is like or how it changes. Many investors use indicators to help identify high-probability trade entry and exit points.
Countless indicators are available everywhere. Some of them have been proven to be accurate gauges for stock prices, while others may just be some kinds of superstitions.
HopeAlways : The moving average indicator attempts to smooth out any wild price action by taking the average price over a rolling number of periods. The result is smooth line that tracks behind the candlesticks or price bars, overlayed on one's chart. The smoothed line makes it easier to determine the trend of the market.
Syuee : Indicators are good but mostly there are lagging indicators.

Well, PRICE is the underlying basis of any and all indicators.
Learn to read the price, that is all you would need, everything else is not needed and will eventually fall flat.
For investing, only fundamentals is required.
For trading purposes, price action is the best, if you want, you can add momentum indicators.
Price is the best indicator in trading and price action best action in trading.
I do not have a particular favourite indicator at all. I usually trade solely on the basis of price action, market internals, and VOLUME.
Indicators tell me where price has been. I want to know where price is going~ ! Market internals and volume often do so.
There is a common mindset among traders - to depend on indicators. Most of us always look for a holy grail system.
But, we always ignore the truth - trading is all about practice, consistency, trial and error.
It needs constant testing and fine-tuning strategies to be profitable.
HopeAlways Syuee : While technical indicators can give possible entry and exit points, the forecasting accuracy is not perfect. When a possible entry or exit point for a stock is suggested, it does not guarantee a successful trade.
Syuee HopeAlways : Moving average is a trend indicator which is an average of closing prices in a time frame which may help identify a trading opportunity… though it is not 100% accurate.![undefined [undefined]](https://static.moomoo.com/nnq/emoji/static/image/default/default-black.png?imageMogr2/thumbnail/36x36)

KT88 Syuee : Price is the ultimate king in the stock market and the reason we can see profit or loss. Also, looking at the volume is important before placing your order. If there is no rise in the volume when the breakout happens, then the price action trader should be doubtful in taking that position.
KT88 Syuee : A trend reversal should always be supported by an increase in volume. But in price action trading, I can see the strength of the buyers or seller's and I will go with win side.
KT88 Syuee : With price action, we can have good risk reward ratio as it focuses more on anticipation. Since you prefer price action strategy, then waiting is your game.![undefined [undefined]](https://static.moomoo.com/nnq/emoji/static/image/default/default-black.png?imageMogr2/thumbnail/36x36)
