Are you ready for Crypto ETFs coming to Australia this Thursday?

There were no crypto-based ETFs listed on the Australian bourse. Although, there is BetaShares Crypto Innovators ETF, but it is not a Crypto pure-play ETF.
This soon became a thing of the past as Australia's first sharemarket-listed cryptocurrency investment funds will begin trading this Thursday (May 12). The three new exchange-traded funds are Cosmos Purpose Bitcoin Access ETF, ETFS 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and ETFS 21Shares Ethereum ETF.

This even includes a spot Bitcoin ETF and Ethereum ETF - products that haven't yet been approved in the US.

For consumers, crypto-based ETFs offer an added layer of institutional-grade security, which an individual investor might not get while investing directly. For the industry, it's a milestone moment for the adoption of digital assets.
“As crypto ETFs are completely new to Australia and the infrastructure is being built from the ground up, a service provider downstream needs more time to support the launch,”
21Shares had said last month.

As I am planning to invest in crypto, it's exciting to watch how these developments unfold!
