Broker Notes: Why analysts name James Hardie, Universal Store and Brambles to buy now?

$James Hardie Industries PLC(JHX.AU)$: Jefferies retains a buy call on James Hardie.
Conflict in Europe and rising energy costs may weigh on James Hardie's 4Q Ebit and the outlook for the region, but Jefferies doesn't expect this will negatively impact FY 2023 net profit guidance of US$740 million-US$820 million.
Shares are 0.61% lower at A$38.85.

$Universal Store Holdings Ltd(UNI.AU)$: Citi starts coverage of Universal Store at buy with a A$5.83/share target price.
Australian clothing retailer Universal Store's network expansion looks conservative to Citi analyst Sam Teeger. He says Universal Store could expand the rollout to 110 stores, comprising 97 stores in Australia and 13 in New Zealand.
Shares are 3.33% higher at A$4.65.

$Goodman Group(GMG.AU)$: Macquarie rates the stock at outperform.
Goodman now expects operating EPS to increase 23% in FY 2022, which ends in June. Its most-recent forecast was for 20% growth and Macquarie says the new projection for 23% growth is broadly in line with its own view and consensus expectations.
Shares are 0.61% lower at A$19.55.

$Brambles Ltd(BXB.AU)$: Barrenjoey is overweight on the stock with a A$14.00 target price.
CVC Capital Partners could look to break up Brambles into regional businesses if the private-equity firm gets hold of the pallet supplier, Barrenjoey analysts say. The volatility in Brambles' Americas business has had a disproportionate impact on the Australia-listed company's valuation, the Barrenjoy team say in a note to clients.
Shares are 11.22% higher at A$11.6.
