CasualInvestor OP Ben 23 : I typically look at it when I’m thinking of entering or selling my position. But a good usage of various charts like MACD or BOLL does give a mid to long term outlook. Really depends on how far away your looking at as other factors will also affect the long term outlook just like a weather forecast.
