i just called td ameritrade corporate actions and they said the ex-date is may 31st and we get tyde shares june 2nd. they said i can buy up to the 27th.
They said the exchange set the "due bill redemption date" of june 1st which is the new record date. This over rides the companys record date.
Ex-dividend date is may 31st (last day to purchase shares of bbig is the 27th to recieve tyde)
Record date is june 1st (due bill redemption date)
Distribution is june 2nd
call td corporate actions 888-723-8504 if u dont believe me
I believe this is why we didnt see a run up to cover yet. This play is still very much alive!
