$Tesla(TSLA.US$ The country’s Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia said that Tesla has “agreed” to a deal to build a battery and EV factory in Indonesia, after its CEO Elon Musk met with President Joko Widodo.
They are expecting the company to make its entry into the country this year, though nothing concrete has been agreed upon or signed.
Both parties stayed mum on investment amount but location of new factories should be unveiled by the end of this year.
