SG spotlights: Using frozen chicken a 'last resort'
Several eateries that specialise in chicken dishes said they will be heavily impacted by Malaysia's ban on exports of the poultry as they brace themselves for a shortage in supply of fresh chickens and a price hike.
While business owners that sell dishes such as chicken rice and fried chicked said they are looking for alternative sourcesm they may have to trun to frozen chicken instead of fresh ones.
Do you mind eating frozen chicken or other meat? In my opinion, frozen chicken is forzen chicken, whatever they do to process it, it can never replace fresh meat. However, frozen chicken can be stored longer time, if we have no choice, I can accpet it as well.![]()

Revelation 6 : The U.S. is dealing with another bird flu outbreak and has had to exterminate large flocks of both chickens and turkeys. Frozen poultry is a direct result of over production. Here in America there may shortages at the slaughter houses, but Golden Plump will be able to keep in the stores. In my shopping adventures I've noticed a $1.00/lb increase in the price. Resh is always better, but frozen will do.
