Financial management is often not taught in school at least during my days, we weren't exposed to these type of soft skills which later become a very important skill to equipped with. The only thing my mom taught me since young was to have a savings habbit.
However, as I grew up, I noticed there are more than just savings. With the advancement in the financial sector, plus banks are now not that trustworthy as before as there are more scammers out there. Just purely saving and wait for the interest to grow maybe an old school thinking now. Instead of just savings, it's good to also educate our child to learn how to actively grow the money, involved them in entrepreneurship activities, make it a game and play with them. But of course I got to stress that, making saving a habbit is still the 1st very important step to financial management. We also need to teach them about debt and how to secure their wealth as well.
(thanks to moomoo, we redeemed the money box for her, so whenever she sees coins on the table, she would immediately "feed" moomoo hahaha)
Milk The Cow : Hahaha the picture, & now the moomoo pillow & cushion look so big.
Bawlz09 : loving the 2 pillows lol.. i have enough for 2 items or 3 off the rewards as well.. :)
momvestor OP : we redeemed a few of the products, the tumbler, umbrellas, coin box, pillows. so she's exposed to all these "bulls" since young hahahaha they are like part of the family
JM investor : the baby is very cute!
Ben 23 : Thanks for sharing. Wish I had learnt more about finance and investment back in my earlier days. Getting those cute moo moo pillows soon.
heyrayray : Great mom!!! I also wished that my parents taught me about risk analysis and management instead of telling me not to do this or that because its deemed as 'risky'. I did learn it on my own, but I had to undo the fear of taking risks that I've grown up with. my dad taught me trading though so I'm very grateful!!
momvestor OP heyrayray : you have an amazing dad!!
