Dons hobby OP : I have a question, I had 71 shares of LPG at one point last week. I sold 21 shares which which gave me an even 50 last week Monday I think. Then today I got the dividend but it paid me for 51 shares but I only own 50 shares, so it has got to pay on a certain number of shares on a date before the dividend pay out. My question is how did I get paid dividend for 51 when I only own 50
