Roku Insider Trade
We have another very large call option that an insider at ROKU has received from the company yesterday. It is a very long expiration and it is a bullish call option. There were several similar 13f filings by NFLX as well. They had the same expiration date. But there were many many more by just about every executive in the company. You can see those in the link below. But check out this big bullish option by a Roku exec. Is this executive calling the dip in the bear market?

102539156 Dan : What does that means? Or translate to?
D stock price going to rise?
SpyderCall OP : Possibly the stock price will rise but it is not for certain. This 13f filing only shows that this person that works for Roku has an option that will only increase in value if the share price goes up. But they have 10 years to hold this option so they have a long time to hold it. But usually when these insiders get these long dated options they know that the price will go higher. But 10 years is a long time to wait for the price to go up.
101849083 : Expiration date: 2032... Unless company bankruptcy, else definitely the stock price will rise by then
SpyderCall OP 101849083 : Agreed. Do you think that these employees think this is the bottom of the dip?
Always Hungryy : it could also be in the employment contract as a part of the compensation package that you can only exercise after 10 years service in the company.
SpyderCall OP Always Hungryy : Possibly. It literally could be anything in their contract. Thats why you cant base a short term decision off of this data. But it is interesting how just about every executive got these stock options on the same day. Maybe that’s just how they do it at Netflix. Who knows.
Always Hungryy SpyderCall OP : yeah it could be a performance bonus thing. cash for bonus plus some options. this way it keeps people trying their hardest to work for the company. it's smarter than giving cash rewards only.
