I just went by a charging station near me an hour ago and there was 3 cars hooked up. One was a tesla and the driver was there. I spoke to him and he said it takes over 8 hours to get a full charge after their batteries are run almost all the way down. He said it's a total inconvenience meaning he has to have another car and driver to take him from his house to drop off the car then pick it up. I mention Mullen and showed him a picture of the 5. He got really interested regarding the miles between charges and the fast charging time and said his Tesla is junk compared to Mullen

Biff OP : PS, I did forget to ask him how much it costs to charge his batteries. You can't pay cash. Only credit or debit cards
Dons hobby : Thanks for the post Biff. How many charging stations are there around where you live ? I have never seen one around Daytona Beach yet. That doesn't mean there aren't any I just have never seen one.
Biff OP Dons hobby : My citie's population is is only about 36,000 people and I know of 3 charging stations. There might be more I haven't seen. Nor, have I searched for any
Dons hobby : It is nice to know there are at least SOME of them starting to pop up across the US.
I just like learning information about things I am or may be in the future invested in.

Biff OP Dons hobby : The one's that I know of have been around for over a year and are usually empty when I see that. I was surprised too see this one full with 3 cars. Next time I go buy I'm going too see how much it costs for a charge
Dons hobby : Cool, knowing the cost would be good info to have no doubt. And I will look around here in FL. and see what and where they buy more important the cost. That way we have at least some idea of what type of investment they are willing to take on in the beginning and what they really think about what they are doing at this point in time.
