Reuters: Biden will announce a decision to increase the supply of solar panels on Monday
Reuters reports that US President Joe Biden will take executive measures on Monday to fill the solar panel supply gap during the US Department of Commerce's tariff investigation and adopt the “Defense Production Act” to speed up the manufacture of US solar panels and clean energy technology.
The US will allow the import of solar panels from Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Vietnam, and these countries will be exempt from the risk of tariffs for the next 24 months.
