Gaotu Techedu Swings to Q1 Adjusted Profit, Revenue Declines

$Gaotu Techedu (GOTU.US)$ 03:24 AM EDT, 06/06/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Gaotu Techedu (GOTU) reported Q1 non-GAAP earnings Monday of 0.35 renminbi ($0.05) per American depositary share, compared with a non-GAAP loss of 5.20 renminbi per ADS a year earlier.

Net revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was 724.6 million renminbi, down from 1.94 billion renminbi a year ago. A single analyst surveyed by Capital IQ projected 549 million renminbi.

Looking ahead, the education company said it expects Q2 net revenue of between 438 million renminbi and 458 million renminbi. A single analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expects 196 million renminbi.
