Chinese stocks surging back 50%, still uninvestable?
In my opinion, I won't dare to invest in chinese stock... Nothing personal butchinese stockare justtoo complicated.
Do I agree that the worst is over? I definitelydisagreedto that. I think the worst hasyet to comedue to the followingreasons: 1. "Possible" recession 2. China random economy locked 🔒 down due to covid 3. War impact 4. Most chinese stock company did not show that positive financial report lately
Furthermore, the recent surged in chinese stock "may" be due to the the reopening of the China economy from the long covid locked 🔒 down...(Just the usual hype thing in my opinion.) However, u may make use of this opportunity to ur trading styles. For me, Iwon'tas no one cantime the market& from the start, I'm quite reluctant to invest in chinese stock asI don'tfeel safe holding them... Some investors trade chinese stocks because of the"currency"& maybe"de-appreciation of yuan dollar"(easy borrow yuanwhile US 🇺🇸 Dollar are too expensive to borrow due to interest rate hike).
Still univestable or a turning point? Nothing is uninvestable. It just depends on whether u wanna take the risk(risk-tolerance level). If ur strategy is good enough to allow u earnedfrom chinese stocks, why not? But if it continues made losses for u, maybe you wanna reflect upon it as to whether it's worth for u to continue investing in it for the long-term... As for a turning point?I"guess" not.

How is it irrelevant? Did it not answer to topic questions? On the other hand, do u have any reasons for it being irrelevant?

this is the 2nd largest economy in the world, and will be the biggest one day. US media don't tell you that. numbers will eventually, and when it does, it will be too late to invest in the "uninvestible". good luck holding overpriced US stocks.

probably because you are saying the obvious? Three of the four reasons you stated apply for any stocks, not only Chinese stocks. even the China lockdown indirectly affect world supply chain.

That may be true, but if the Chinese government don't even allows their local companies to release certain important informations for investors, do u think it's safe to invest in?
Also, what u mean overpriced , if companies are continuing to make growth with profits , unlike...
Able to bring in revenue but without profits in the long term is not equal to a sustainable growth & good returns for investors.

Of course I'm saying the obvious & some ppls just can't even see the obvious .
And yes, it applies to all stocks & that's why I choose the better one of them. For a logical investor, will one choose to invest in a problem that is so close to u?
What has it going for chinese companies are the cheap yuan currency that is "maybe" the reason to attract investors to invest in.

the big Chinese companies are audited by international big audit firms. US and China are playing proxy wars using the markets and throwing crap reasons at each other. and invest in Hang Seng if worried.
SlowMovingTurtle : Dumb and irrelevant post
OWY 7558 : Most chinese stock company did not show that positive financial report lately
As they just not strong enough for buyback + withstand any correction.
