Regular Savings Plan (RSP) for dad 👨?
My father is a very stubborn & conservative person.
There's
no way he will allow me to handle his funds. So, that's not an option.
In a sense is also good
as there's no need for me to give any responsibility to him if it somehow go otherwise
.
Maybe if I'm a fund manger with results, my father will trust me more. (He also don't trust fund mangers
)
Why is it good to create a RSP for your dad?1. The fixed income is stable
2. Higher interest than bank 🏦
3. Got moomoo promo vouchers bonus
4. U do not need put 100% saving into bank
5. U can make plan as low as $100 per month
6. Make u committed to saving & earned from ur savings when sleeping
7. Not really a point but it's safer than buying stocks
Downsides of RSP:1. U have to be committed to ur plan every months
2.
Nothing is
100% safe in investment
3. Cannot immediately mobilise ur funds if there is an emergency in need of
=3 working days
So, nothing to show
.
DYODD before investing Edited on 21/6/2022:After thinking 🤔 for awhile... if my dad don't want, why I don't
invest for myself instead
+
when I find the
promo so attractive?
Why I'm so stupid ah
+
?

Milk The Cow OP : By the way, @Moo_Rich... is it true that u can pause ur auto investment plan ?
If can, that's really cool .
Moo_Rich Milk The Cow OP : Sorry for the delayed reply.... of course, we can. And for example, if you set up an RSP for cash plus, even if you redeem your shares this month, it does not affect your plan for the next month. Thanks for your always support!
