Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday. The $富時新加坡海峽指數(.STI.SG)$ increased 0.45 per cent to 3107.31 as at 9:00 am.

Advancers / Decliners is 66 to 29, with 10.80 million securities worth S$22.60 million changing hands.

May rents increased by 2.8% MoM, recording the seventeenth consecutive month that rents have increased. In the CCR rents have increased by 2.2% MoM. This is followed by RCR by 2.8% and OCR by 3.3%

$Hwa Hong (H19.SG)$ : Hwa Hong minority shareholders could consider accepting Sanjuro United’s privatisation offer for Hwa Hong and switch to other developers offering a deeper discount to book, UOB Kay Hian (UOBKH) said in a report.

$Aspen (1F3.SG)$ : Aspen Glove, the glove-making subsidiary of Aspen (Group) Holdings, on Tuesday (Jun 21) obtained an ex parte interim injunction restraining Multi Purpose Metal Tech (MPMT) – the company that issued a letter of demand to Aspen Glove claiming about RM29.3 million (S$9.2 million) – from filing or presenting a winding-up petition against Aspen Glove until the inter partes hearing is held.

$Katrina (1A0.SG)$ : Two employees of a subsidiary of food and beverage (F&B) group Katrina Group are assisting with an investigation by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the company said in a bourse filing on Wednesday (Jun 22).
