Working ppls over age 65 jumped to 22%, Should we invest for retirement?

Due to inflation & a hike in interest rate, ppls preferred to delayed their retirement.

During covid period, salaries are supposed to increase due to a shortage of labour. That is supposed to be the best period to be employed or ask for a pay raised.

However, inflation hit as ppls are more willing to spend due to the rised of their salaries. This caused a rised in inflation.

Then, the FED has no choice but to hike interest rate to keep inflation in checked (supposed to be ).

Daily expenses tend to has rised. So, ppls also has no choice but to delay their retirement plan.

Should we invest for retirement?
Of course is a yes. We should earn extra while we are sleeping 😴 & that is through investing . A lot ppls do not know what is long-term investing... Long-term investing = 5 years to 10 years, which mean u only invest with that u are not planning to use for those periods . In fact 5 years are not considered long-term investing to Warren Buffett.

Would u choose to delay retirement or return to work at age 65?
Of course is NO for me . I saw young ppls retired at age 30... wth 🤦‍♂️,  I also wanna be like those ppls. Life is short & I want to enjoy life... (But some time it's not for us to say = is the one that has the final saying .)

If I'm 65, I also won't choose to return to work too if I have enough saving for my life. Lots of ppls in SG tend to choose to work instead as they don't know what to do with their daily retired life. For me, I think I knows what I want to do with my life & hence, I most likely won't get bored during that age. It just that if my body are still up for it .

So wanna to be financially independent as soon as possible & that is the reason for investing.
