  • Joejj : Weird no one voted for Xpev. Xpev at the look of it could dominate the economical range EV in China market. Nio will be in the middle to higher range EV market. Li on the other hand seems to be strong in the SUV range.
I assume people are concern of Xpev because it goes directly against BYD which now focus 100% on EV. BYD had been a old player in the market. I think in the near future, Xpev has also very strong growth considering that the EV is still a very small percentage in the huge China market. Whether if Xpev will be dominating over BYD or vice versa is still early to say.

  • 71529569 : why so high for nio?

  • Joejj 71529569 : I think Nio is worthy to be the top choice. Simply because Nio IS THE forefront of Chinese EV. It is more than a car company, it is a innovation company.
Xpeng, the engineer worked in Tesla before which explains an awful lot of similarity between Xpeng cars and Tesla. But looking at both Xpev and Nio, it make sense that Xpev would grow faster because Xpeng dealt with the mass economical market. The growth is much more. Where as Nio deal with middle to higher range, the sale is a niche. A Nio car I would say surpasses a Tesla vehicle and the price is somewhat around Tesla.
Xpeng cars are somewhat lesser than a Tesla but price is the main biting point which makes it market viable.
Given me the choice of Tesla, BYD, Nio, Xpeng and Li cars. I would without doubt buy a Nio even its the same price as Tesla.
But I think in terms of market expension, Xpeng and BYD would work better in China because they are cheap.

  • 1994CM : I really wanted to invest in all of these 3 EV companies.

  • Felayt : Did so many people choose NIO because they knew it best?
