Tesla will open supercharger stations to non-Tesla vehicles in the US by the end of the year
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ is investing in its Gigafactory in Buffalo, New York, to support the deployment of new fast-charging stations and increase its fast-charging network, according to a White House memo. More than 1,600 people work at the gigafactory, which produces Tesla's solar roof and supercharger stations.
In addition, the memo notes that Tesla is expanding its production of power electronics components such as charging boxes and cables. Tesla will begin production of a new supercharger facility later this year that will allow non-Tesla owners in North America to use Tesla superchargers
