I read concerns about the next Shanghai’s factory stop  🛑
Let’s explain it to all those who limit their information to the headlines…
Tesla is NOT shutting down anything: they are retooling and re-organising (one production line at a time, the others will keep on PRINTING cars) the factory in order to DOUBLE its nominal capacity (while starting to build a NEW one in a near by area).
Does DOUBLING the production seems a negative issue ? Then you have some inverted parameters 😂😂😂
Good luck with that…
At the same time Berlin is improving too, adding a third shift and one more work day at the factory, as they can hire more employees. The hiring wasn’t easy and they had to rise salaries of 6% because European workers are not used to the Tesla’s compensation system that includes the possibility to get stocks at a very low price: They just want a higher pay check. But that will change quickly, as soon as the first thousand workers realise in their wallets how much is that worth (especially with the imminent stock split).
If you are in a doubt abut some headline or you have some doubt, ask papa Smurf 🥶. Not because I think I am smarter (I am not 🤪), but because I ONLY trade and hold TSLA and I study EVERYTHING about the company and it’s stock.
It is all about INFORMATION and TIMING.

  • Tesla 1st : Thank you for your information.

  • whqqq : It seems that Tesla will surpass BYD and return to the first place[undefined]

  • TeslaSmurf OP whqqq : Tesla NEVER lost the first place.
BYD sales include hybrid cars which are basically gasoline cars plus a small electric motor for the city: a total nonsense nowadays.
Counting ONLY EVs, Tesla still produces the DOUBLE than BYD and with 5X more margin. BYD is a good company and they will reach the critical mass production numbers (above 500000 units per car model: consider that Tesla’s Model Y and 3 are basically the same project) in a relatively short time. They will double their production, but in the same time Tesla will double too, but from 1 million in 2021… So the distance between the two will keep increasing.
