FAW Jiefang and Tencent Cloud Reach Strategic Cooperation Agreement
The agreement will allow both parties to give full play to their advantages in their respective fields and join forces to build basic capabilities in auto information security, product R&D technology, and cutting-edge technology research. Standing atop FAW Jiefang’s comprehensive R&D system and colossal commercial vehicle market while leveraging Tencent’s leading expertise in information security, the duo aims to realize development and production in the automotive security field.
Tencent has invested in the digital construction of the automobile industry for quite some time. At present, it has reached agreements with more than 40 car companies (such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi) in the field of intelligent travel.
