SIA records 87.8% load factor
Singapore Airlines $SIA (C6L.SG)$ achieved a record high passenger load factor of 87.8% in June this year.
SIA's passenger load factor, including Scoot, reached 85.5 % in June, the highest level since the start of the coronary outbreak, up 7.3% from May and up 69.4% year-on-year.
Strong demand for air travel during the mid-year holiday period, coupled with the start of the summer travel season, contributed to a particularly good June business, SIA said in releasing business figures after the market closed last Friday (July 15).
