Lincoln Educational Services Signs Deal With Tesla to Train EV Technicians; Lincoln Shares Rise

$Lincoln Educational Services (LINC.US)$ said Tuesday it has signed an agreement with $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ to establish a training facility at Lincoln Tech's Denver campus.
The move is part of a three-year plan under which the school will provide Tesla training at no cost to students to help develop the carmaker's technician workforce, Lincoln said.
Lincoln said the potential to expand the program to other of its campuses is being considered as Tesla needs skilled technicians across the US.
Lincoln shares rose by more than 9% in premarket trading on Tuesday.
