The AMA topic is a comment section on moomoo where a new kind of crowdsourced communication can happen, which we refer to as Ask Me Anything.
The AMA host, or the OP, begins the process by starting a post, describing who they are and what they are good at. Then commenters with access to moomoo can post questions and indicate a "like" for questions they are interested in.
The OP can go through and reply to the questions they find interesting and easily see those questions mooers are dying to have the answer to.
Ask Me Anything topics fall into two categories:
1. Your personal trading or investing life experience.
2. Your personal trading strategies, techniques, specialities, or philosophy.
The AMA host/OP will NOT respond to questions regarding personal financial advice.
The AMA host will ONLY respond to questions that are broad investment or trading related.
Step 1:

Now you’ll need to fill out your Post.

TITLE: “Hi, I’m XXX. Ask me anything!” Feel free to elaborate and/or personalize.
TEXT: First of all, you should state your schedule.
Then write the additional content/information that mooers will see once they visit the post. Include your trading or investing experience, more details about who you are, etc.

Hit Post, and you are ready to go!
Moomoo suggests that you Post your AMA no less than two days prior to your scheduled AMA time. This will give more time for mooers to start populating the post with questions. Then, when you’re ready to start, you can jump right into answering questions.
Step 4:
Click your post when you’re ready to start answering questions. Hopefully, there will be questions waiting for you.

When you see a question in the comment area, look directly below it and hit “reply”. That will allow you to answer that person’s question directly.
Continue this process throughout the comments. You can answer whichever questions you’d like and you can ignore any that you don’t want to respond to.
Step 5:
Once you have completed the AMA, you can hit the "edit" your post or leave a "comment" under your post to say that you sign off message. This isn't required, but it's appropriate to let the users know that you have finished answering questions.

Of course, you may also return to your post later and participate further.
Comments will be removed under a few circumstances:
1. Abusive or harassing comments
2. Comments responding to verification that are unrelated to verification.
3. Requests for financial advice from the OP. (For example, "OP, can you tell me what to buy?")
4. Repeatedly asking the same question.
5. Under our policies, astroturfing is the practice of an individual or group of individuals who plant questions in an AMA post for a particular purpose.
Post under the #Ask Me Anything topic will be removed if it is:
1. Not an AMA hosting post.
2. A question that you attempt to ask the OP. (Make sure you comment under the hosting post, not under the topic.)

If you feel thankful for the OPs that take the time to interact with the community, or you appreciate their answers to your questions, please feel free to:
1. Like the post.
2. Like the answer that you receive from the OP.
3. Share the post to your friends.
4. Say thanks directly by commenting. Let the OPs know how awesome they are!
5. Special thanks from moomoo on your behalf: The more useful questions you raise, the more moomoo points the OP will get!
For the first three months of AMA program, that is from August to October, apart from mooers showing their appreciation, moomoo will reward the OP 10 points per answer that has actual meaning, or you can comment from 10 to 80 points of how many you would like the OP to be rewarded. Moomoo will contact the OP and let them know the points reward.
If you disagree with the OP’s opinion, offer a reply with your reasoned thoughts. This way, you can open a dialogue with the OP and potentially debate the differing points of view.
AMAs are quite beneficial to the individual trader who might be struggling to come up with new ideas. However, one important thing to remember when participate in AMAs, is that everybody is human. Thus, the trading strategies or research you find may be flawed. As such, any trading tip that you receive on an AMA must be taken with a grain of salt. In the words of Benjamin Graham, “Perform your own research”.
