doctorpot1 : you can't roll option as one trade. you have to close and reopen. which means you get 2 separate option. charges

ReStart Hope BeginnerInvestorKen OP : Close and Reopen. If you long, sell the current option and buy another option with longer expiry period. If you short, buy the current option and sell another option with longer expiry period.
