Cow Moo-ney OP toomanyscammers : That’s right. But I think the market forgot that 8.6% is still high, and companies’ earnings will still get hurt. Interest rate needs to maintain at current level minimally or go slightly higher to further tame the inflation

101785677 toomanyscammers : earnings are bad. economic data are bad. the whole extreme bullishness in the current market is just based on some idea that the fed will make a uturn and start pumping again. yes the market doesn’t even care about having a working economy, they just want to print money. that’s the pathetic state of the current market when it’s flooded with uneducated teenagers
大富怡情 : The market just needs a reason to keep pumping that’s it. That aside, this can still make sense. Just like passing by the same tree uphill vs downhill. Uphill you’re discouraged as you don’t know how much higher you’ll have to climb, but downhill you’re happy as you know it’s going to get easier from here (not to say that’s already the case but that’s the sentiment)
Cow Moo-ney OP toomanyscammers : I’m a little skeptical about this rally. My view is that it may not sustain given the inflation is still considerably high.
