CCarp : Yes just put in a sell order of 50 shares for one price and 50 shares for another price. I am doing the $0.98 and $1.17
Imjustzak OP CCarp : Right but that’s just selling 50 shares of any piece of the stock you own. You’re not able to sell a specific bundle of stocks you bought at a certain price (.ie selling the .38 Bundle of stocks instead of the .55 bundle of stocks) . Does that make sense?
CCarp : Just sell the 100 shares
Imjustzak OP CCarp : Not quite what I’m getting at
CCarp : Oh sorry
CCarp : I think what your saying is you want to put 2 orders in for a sell order?
Imjustzak OP : No I’m not. Sorry
Cody89 : As far as I can tell no you cannot do what you're asking. When you buy at different price ranges it averages them together (how dollar cost averaging works) so you aren't able to pick the specific stock at a certain price. Hope this helps.
Imjustzak OP : Cool that’s the answer I was looking for thank you!
sincere Rhino_3179 : Wondering why u would want to do this. When u bought the .55 it reduced ur purchase price of all the stock. I also bought some at one price then it dropped price, bought more. Then it dropped again so I bought more thus bringing the price of all the stock down to .38 per. Just curious, Thank you
